Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) is a coagulant used in water treatment processes, particularly for purifying drinking water and treating industrial wastewater. PAC is preferred over traditional aluminum sulfate because it offers better efficiency and lower sludge production. It is widely used in municipal water treatment plants and in the paper industry. PAC is also applied in oil and gas industries for desalting purposes.
